But, you can buy something your valentine will love…
With the hope they maybe will fall in love or love you a bit more for getting them a really nice gift.
The good news is you don’t have to break the bank either, but there are options if you want a bit of luxury too.
So this week on Saturday AM I went all Sound Of Music and picked lots of, what will hopefully be your Valentines favourite things.
Flowers are always a big hit on Valentines but what about having a different delivery that will really make the one you love smile? Enter Balloons For You.ie . I love this idea, Your Valentine will receive a delivery of a very large box and when they open it a very large confetti balloon pops out as a air filed declaration of your love. All for €30.00
If bling is your thing and you’re not oping for a diamond ring, Thomas Sabo have a Valentines Range that they will love. You can get a bracelet or necklace, or both.
The “together” line has been expanded to include two special pieces for Valentine’s Day; the Together Heart Bracelet €129 and Together Heart Necklace €139. Each gift comes beautifully packaged, making shopping for a loved one even easier! You can find you local Thomas Sabo stockist here
As always Aldi have a HUGE range, you can buy your Valentine. Everything from underwear, chocolates, champagne and Pj’s to a vase, depending on what floats their boat.
I went with a DAB radio, but that’s where I’m at in my life and for €39.99 it’s steal.
I also love the centre piece candle, again price wise €11.99.
It’s worth buying regardless of Valentines, I picked the Lime, Basil and Mandarin or there’s Pomegranate too.
A great gift is Skincare, I use and LOVE IMAGE. I’m not just saying that, it’s the skincare I buy, use everyday and honestly really really love. I call it my unicorn blood.
I choose the VITAL C range for the item on Saturday AM because its suitable for all skin types, but even if you’re unsure a hand and body lotion from this range is amazing.
Their VITAL C Hydrating Anti-aging Serum is €71. Which I know seems expensive but it’s a best seller in a very crowded market for a good reason, it works. You can check for your local stockist HERE
Now for some serious luxury, Lucy Nagle Cashmere. So, as I said on the show, my kids need shoes and cashmere is a bit too much of and indulgence but if you’re looking to woo your loved one with something SO special, Lucy Nagle is where to go.
It’s a little but of soft wooly heaven so it does have a price, ranging from €195 to €335 but you can’t put a price on true love, now can you?
You’ll find her stocked in BT, BT2 and you can shop or as I do, drool on line at https://www.lucynagle.com/
Last but not least, a card. Valentines Day is nothing without a card. I don’t think it matters even if it’s handmade, it does matter though that your give one to your Valentine, well I think so anyway. There’s a million on the market, but I love these.
Stephen Heffernan designs. They’re so beautifully Irish. I picked them up at the Jam Art Factory, While you’re there, have a look at all they have on offer, you won’t be disappointed.
If you want to see what they all look like in real (TV) life, you can watch my Valentines item from Saturday AM HERE
